The Age-friendly cities concept is a local response to encouraging active ageing by optimizing opportunities for health, participation and security in order to enhance quality of life as people age.

The Age Friendly Dallas Plan was developed with the input of 40+ community partners and include 7 domains of livability, as well as recommended strategies within each domain.
