Go to Goug and watch the scene. Read the rumor at Gollund, then go to Lesalia, then invite Beowulf to Gollund. After a series of battles, he joins the party. Participate in the Beowulf battles mentioned earlier and your final objective will be to protect Reis. Finish the battle and you'll gain her.
They do, more or less. You go to Goug at the start of Chapter 4, with Mustadio in the party, and you'll see Construct 8 (ball form). Then you head to Gollund, read the rumor about the Coal Mines, go to Lesalia, and recruit Beowulf. Take Beowulf back to Gollund and recruit Dragon Reis at the end.
7 Lancer. Perhaps your Squire is taking the Archer route instead of the Knight at level two. Once you've leveled that Archer to level two, you can become a Thief. Three levels there will unlock the Lancer job.
Summoner is a job in Final Fantasy Tactics unlocked by achieving level 3 in Time Mage. A strong, magickal job, the Summoner can call forth espers to deal massive damage to all enemies, or aid allies. In the original version, it requires 9,710 JP to master. In The War of the Lions, it requires 9,800 JP.
Secret Characters Keep in mind that each character is acquired in the fourth chapter, and that you must have Mustadio in your party for each character to appear. Otherwise, you won't have the opportunity to recruit any characters. Beowulf - Read the rumors at Goland, and then head to Lesalia.
