Once You Petition You will receive an email on the status of your petition within 8 weeks after submitting it to the Admissions Office. If found eligible, your petition will be re-evaluated once official grades are posted at the end of the term. This process can take up to 5 weeks.

Applying for Graduation To access the application, students should log in to CougarWeb and select "Apply to Graduate" under the Student Quick Links section. Upon submission of the form a confirmation page will be displayed and students will receive communication regarding graduation via their CougarMail account.
During the Ceremony The beginning of the ceremony will include messages from Collin College's District President Dr. Neil Matkin, Chair of the Board of Trustees, and our guest speaker. After the speeches, graduates will be led to the stage to have their names called while they cross the stage.
How much notice must be given? The general rule is that at least 21 days' notice must be given, although constitutions may specify longer. More than 28 days' notice must be given for listed companies regardless of what the company constitution says (s 249HA).
Convening the AGM The board of directors is authorized to call an AGM as per Article 62 of the Companies Act. Notices must be sent to all shareholders at least 15 business days before the meeting for public companies and non-profit companies with voting members, and 10 business days for other entities.
Calling and purpose of an AGM An association's constitution must specify the manner of calling an AGM and the manner in which notice of the AGM is given. If the Model constitution applies, members must be given at least 14 days' notice of an AGM or 21 days' notice if a special resolution is to be proposed.
