In San Antonio, daytime is defined as 6 AM to 10 PM but in Houston permitted construction hours are 7 AM to 8 PM while Dallas ends the daytime hours at 7 PM. Construction noise is covered by Chapter 12.08. 440 in Title 12 of the County Codes. Most construction must take place between a.m. and p.m. during normal weekdays. However, emergency repairs may be performed as necessary.
