UGA Law School Admissions UGA Law School is considered a Moderately Competitive law school, which accepts only 33% of its applicants.
Requirements. Students will write a minimum of three essays (1,000-1,500 words or longer) that count for at least 50% of the student's final grade. In addition to writing papers and doing other work, all students will create a final electronic portfolio that counts as 30% of their final grade.

Upper Level Writing Requirements The Capstone Writing Requirement requires each student, prior to graduation, to complete an additional analytical writing project of at least 20 double-spaced pages.
Capstone Projects are intended to be intensive, active learning projects, requiring significant effort in the planning and implementation, as well as preparation of a substantial final written work product. For approval of a Capstone Project, interested students must submit a written proposal.
By law, landlords cannot refuse to return the deposit without a valid reason. §§ 92.101-92.109. Upon move out, they must give you your security deposit within 30 days. Any deductions would have to be noted upon an itemized list. You can sue your landlord for damages in small claims court.
No resident shall be in any area of the residence that falls below 65 degrees Fahrenheit or that exceeds 85 degrees Fahrenheit. (2) Mechanical cooling devices shall be made available for use in those areas of the building used by residents when inside temperatures exceed 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
Minimum Habitability Standards The Act establishes a “duty of habitability,” requiring landlords to maintain properties in a condition fit for human occupancy. This includes functional plumbing, electrical systems, heating, cooling and freedom from hazards like pest infestations, mold, and leaking roofs.
The landlord has one month to send you your security deposit or a letter explaining why the deposit is being kept. If he doesn't, he can't keep the security deposit and he can't sue you for any damages to the unit. All landlords must return the security deposit within one month or let the tenant know why not.
