FAQ

January 15: Regular decision For autumn term applicants, January 15 by p.m. ET is the final deadline by which we must receive your complete application. You'll get an admission decision on March 7.

Applicants entering directly from high school (with no college credit) must have a GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. The applicant must have completed courses in algebra, biology, and chemistry at the high school or college level with a minimum grade of “C” or better.

There are three ways you'll receive your letter of acceptance: by mail, email, or on your online portal. How schools choose to tell students about their university entry will vary. Check with your school's office of admissions to see when and how you'll get your letter of acceptance.

By meeting the early action deadline, you'll get an admission decision on either December 13 (Ohio residents and Stamps Eminence applicants) or January 24 (non-Ohio residents and international applicants).

You will receive an official acceptance letter in the mail. It may take four to six weeks for the processing of your application materials.

Please allow a minimum of 6 to 8 weeks to complete the review process of your file.

Your decision will first be posted in your Applicant Center, so keep an eye on that for the most up-to-date information. See decision terms in the callout on this page.

You will receive an admissions decision notification from any campus to which you have applied, though you may not receive them at the same time. Once you've activated your OHIO ID, you can check your application status online in MyOHIO Student Center. Statuses are updated at least nightly.

An admission letter confirms your acceptance into a graduate program, while an offer letter provides details about the financial aid package and any conditions that must be met to enroll.

Yes, being offered admission is the same thing as being accepted (at least in the US system).
