General Standard for Admission. In general, this requires a distinguished academic record with a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) in academic coursework for the first law degree (a J.D. or LL. B. or equivalent).
Eligibility requirements If you graduated from a Michigan high school (or earned a GED) after having attended for at least three years and enrolling at WSU within 28 months after graduation or GED completion, you are eligible for in-state tuition.

If you apply after October 1, you should receive an admission decision within two to three weeks after submitting your application and any outstanding materials. Check for it on your application status page, using the email address and password created for your applicant profile page.
Once you've received your admitted student package, you'll have a few more steps to finalize your enrollment. When you accept your offer of admission, you must also submit a $50 enrollment deposit that will secure your place at WSU. The enrollment deposit will be applied to your first semester tuition bill.
For independent students, either they or their spouse must have been a state resident for at least a year before the first day of classes. Some states, like Arizona and California, require two years of residency and self sufficiency for independent students.
