Our automated account recovery feature simplifies the process of regaining access to your Carta account. Users can initiate recovery from the login page, entering their current and new email addresses, and verifying their information through document verification using SMS or a QR code.
How do I update my email? Within the Security page, click + Add backup email. Enter your Backup email address and type your current Carta password. Click the Verify email address button to verify, or copy and paste the link below it into your web browser. You will be directed back to the Security page.
Enter your Personal Information, including the basics like name and country of residency, but also a Tax ID. All fields marked with a red asterisk are required. When you've completed them all, click Next: Tax address. If you don't know what to use as your tax ID, check out our list of tax IDs by country.
Q: How do I update my contact information? A: On your profile page, please select the pencil icon next to "Contact Details" in the left column.
To change your phone number: Tap the Home tab > > Account. Tap Phone number. Enter your phone number and tap Next. Tap Call me instead at the bottom of the verification code input screen. Tap Continue. After receiving the automated phone call, enter the verification code you were given.
Here's how: Contact your carrier's customer support via phone, online chat, or in-store visit. Request a phone number change and provide any necessary account verification. Your carrier will assign you a new phone number and SIM card if needed.
Your bank or credit card company will allow you to change your contact information either through their website or over the phone. Use the customer service number printed on the back of your card to call your credit card issuer.
How to update the phone number for your online account Enter the verification code sent to your current phone number. Provide your new phone number and select your preferred method of receiving a code. Confirm your new phone number by entering the verification code sent to your new phone number.
