San Japan is an annual three-day anime convention held during August/September at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, San Antonio Grand Hyatt Hotel, and San Antonio Marriott Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas.
Japan in july will be scorching hot and especially humid. You could wear tank tops and shorts or leggings but you will most probably feel extremely out of place. I suggest flowy long pants and your linen to cope with the heat. They dress really classy and I've never felt more frumpy than in Japan :)
San Japan is a family-friendly convention. Excessively revealing clothing or costumes are not permitted. Private areas must be covered with an opaque cloth at all times. Guests in excessively revealing attire will be asked to change.
