Contact the business and say you want to cancel the contract because you're still in the cooling-off period. You'll probably need to give them details such as your account reference number - check any documents or emails you have from the company.
Almost all providers require 30 days' notice if you wish to leave.
If you've taken out a SIM Only contract in store, over the phone or online, you can change your mind within 14 days of receiving your order. If you do want to cancel your agreement, get in touch to let us know and we'll get it sorted.
Simply sign in to My O2 and choose the tariff you want to move to. If you move to a lower tariff, you could lose some of your benefits – even if you move back to a higher tariff later.

You can give us your PAC code when you order your new O2 connection or at any time afterwards. Log in to My O2 to transfer your current mobile number to your new O2 connection. In My O2 web: Go to the menu and select 'Switch to O2' and then 'Move my number'. On the app: Go to 'Support', and then 'Keep your number'.
Using the PAC code will end your contract and O2 will send you a final bill. If you just want to transfer your number to O2 P&G customer service will arrange that for you. If you do nothing, your contract carries on a rolling 30 day contract until you give notice.
Ofcom's 'Text-to-switch' process mean you no longer have to get in touch with the network you're leaving to cancel your plan yourself. Instead, the network you're joining will cancel your contract when you give them your PAC code.
