Once your contract ends your service will continue, but you can cancel without paying any fees. Shows your usage – for example, calls you've made, data you've used, or films you've brought. You'll get charged £0 if that usage is included in your package allowance.
To cancel your BT broadband contract, call BT on 0800 783 1401. Or if you are outside the UK, call +44 150 174 7714. You need to provide BT with 30 days' notice before you leave. So, your BT broadband will be disconnected 30 days after you call the company and cancel your service.
If you recontract or upgrade either your phone landline service or your EE TV service (and you already have BT Broadband), then your broadband service will automatically recontract. This is so that you can enjoy these services for the full duration of the new contract without any problems or technical issues.

If you are planning to leave BT, then you can do without any penalty once your contract ends. Just give them 30 days notice. If you are moving to a different provider, then you do not need to do anything, as you new provider will inform BT.
