Description

A factor is a person who sells goods for a commission. A factor takes possession of goods of another and usually sells them in his/her own name. A factor differs from a broker in that a broker normally doesn't take possession of the goods. A factor may be a financier who lends money in return for an assignment of accounts receivable (A/R) or other security.

Many times factoring is used when a manufacturing company has a large A/R on the books that would represent the entire profits for the company for the year. That particular A/R might not get paid prior to year end from a client that has no money. That means the manufacturing company will have no profit for the year unless they can figure out a way to collect the A/R.

FAQ

There are several orders in which you can accomplish the steps needed to change from point-slope to general form, but basically: subtract m(x-x1) from both sides: y - y1 -m(x - x1)= 0. distribute m, yielding y - y1 -mx +mx1 = 0. combine the constants y1 and mx1. Rearrange the order so you have -mx +y +(mx1-y1)=0.

When you want to rewrite the standard form Ax + By + C = 0 to the slope-intercept form: Make sure that B is not equal to zero — if it is, the slope-intercept form does not exist. Rewrite your equation as By = -Ax - C . Divide both sides by B . We get y = -(A/B)x - C/B . We've found the slope-intercept form!

How do I convert standard form to slope intercept form? Make sure that B is not equal to zero — if it is, the slope-intercept form does not exist. Rewrite your equation as By = -Ax - C . Divide both sides by B . We get y = -(A/B)x - C/B . We've found the slope-intercept form!

To find the slope using a general or standard form equation, use the slope formula: m=-A/B where A and B are integer variables found in the equation. The m is the slope.

And the -8x by 2 when we do this the twos cancel. And you're left with y = 6 - 4x if you'd like youMoreAnd the -8x by 2 when we do this the twos cancel. And you're left with y = 6 - 4x if you'd like you can rearrange it to where it looks like y = -4x + 6 so -4 is the slope. And 6 is the Y intercept.

Thus, to convert to point-slope form, first convert to slope-intercept form, then move the constant term b to the left side of the equation (or isolate x and then divide by the y coefficient). Example: Convert 3x = 4y + 8 to point-slope form.

X plus 2 is equal to 0. So we get X is equal to a negative 4 and a negative 2. But when we write ourMoreX plus 2 is equal to 0. So we get X is equal to a negative 4 and a negative 2. But when we write our intercepts. It would be 4 comma 0. Or negative 4 comma 0.

When we find slope in standard form, we take the A term, divide by B, then change the sign (or we just say -A/B. In this example, we have -3/-1, which is the same as 3/1, or 3.

The time it takes to get an ADU permit in California can vary significantly depending on the specific location and requirements of the project. It's typical to see anywhere from thee to nine months to complete the permitting process.
