The contract is an entertaining film. While not the best film in any way, it is still worth seeing. This is not an in depth thriller, or a work for the ages. But it is a fun way to spend your time. I love John Cusack movies. And I love Morgan Freeman's acting roles as well.
The film was shot almost exclusively in Bulgaria and the DSK Bank central headquarters served as one of the main sets. The scenes on the large rock were filmed at the Zlatnite Mostove on the Vitosha Mountain by Sofia, the capital city of Bulgaria.

Good movie, definitely worth the watch. Good action sequences with focus on a father and son. Not too gory and certainly not boring.
