Minor in Filmmaking at Allegheny College. Students engage content, methods, and practices with faculty in order to develop the capacity to use film as a medium.Form in film concerns cinematography, editing, sound, directing, and other artistic choices made to express the content of a film. During the audition-interview, students will present their work, discuss their past experience, and share what they hope to gain during their time at Allegheny. It offers a historical perspective while analyzing film as an art form. Films are selected for study of cinematic innovation, genre and directional artistry.
