To do this you need to: Build trust. Encourage people to speak up. Tell people how they can raise a complaint. Communicate in different ways. Explain where people can get help, advice and support. Consult with service users. Measure and share your success.
Are you looking to write an effective complaint letter? It's helpful to explain the problem and say how you want the company to resolve it. Make the letter clear and include only the details that describe the problem and the resolution you want.
Be clear and brief. Cover all the relevant points but be as brief as you can. Avoid writing long letters or emails – you might feel the need to write in great detail but usually this is not required. Make it easy to read by using numbered lists and headings to highlight the important issues.

Guidelines for writing complaints: Explain the problem as clearly, briefly, and fairly as possible. In the first and last lines of the letter, clearly state your expectations of the other party. Try to confront only one problem at a time.
Comments Section Contact your local PALS service. They can help you with the complaint, but they also may be able to help you with getting an appointment. You can also look up the practice manager online for your local surgery and make a direct complaint to them, but I personally recommend the PALS route.
