The original Notice should be sent to the County Recorder, P.O. Box 011711, Flagler Station, Miami, Florida 33101. Please make sure the original Notice is signed and notarized.

The Property Appraiser of Miami-Dade County reviews all ownership changes, properly recorded in the Clerk of Courts Recorder's Office. The ownership transfer is typically processed between 4 and 8 weeks, but may take up to 12 weeks.

County Civil Judges have jurisdiction over Contract and Indebtedness cases up to $50,000, Landlord Tenant/Eviction cases, Small Claims and debt collection cases (amounts up to $8,000), Auto negligence, inium and Personal Injury Protection cases $8,001 to $50,000.

The County Civil Division has jurisdiction over civil cases up to $50,000 and Small Claims cases with amounts up to $8,000.
