106th Amendment Act of 2023 It reserves one-third of all seats for women in Lok Sabha, State Legislative Assemblies, and the Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, including those reserved for SCs and STs.
This amendment is also known as the Women's Reservation Bill, 2023. It attempts to analyse the barriers to political participation of women and the implications of the amendment on such socio-political factors.

The Bill must then be passed in each House by a majority of the total membership of that House and by a majority of not less than two-thirds of the members of that House present and voting.
