Your overall score Uniform Bar Exam states require a score between 260 and 280 to pass the Uniform Bar Exam. So, if your score was above 280, you technically received a score that is considered passing in every Uniform Bar Exam state. Congratulations if that is the case.
Nevada sets unique alternative for lawyer licensing, rejects new national bar exam. Sept 11 (Reuters) - Nevada will not use the overhauled national bar exam set to debut in 2026 for lawyer licensing, following a similar move by California last month.
In order to pass the Nevada Bar Exam, an applicant must have a total scaled score of 75 or higher and a converted score of 75 or higher on at least three written essay questions. This equates to a passing score of 140 on a 200-point scale.
The MBE recently added “Civil Procedure” as a test subject. There is also one 90-minute Multi-State Performance Test question. Nevada's exam is among the toughest in the nation; however, first-time test takers have a significantly higher pass rate.
To pass the exam in the first phase of grading, an applicant must have a total scale score (after one reading) of at least 1390 out of 2000 possible points. Those with total scale scores after one reading below 1350 fail the exam.
