Lawyer fears may be described in a variety of ways, but most (or all) are ultimately the fear of mistakes. We don't want to appear foolish or incompetent, and we certainly don't want to cause a bad outcome.
Most states have a bar that is a government-sanctioned body, charged with the regulation and licensing of attorneys. Some states also have a voluntary bar association that focuses on advancing and improving the legal profession. In other states, one organization serves both functions.
What is my New York Bar number? Many states have Bar numbers; New York does not. The registration number, which appears on the biennial registration form, is used for internal Office of Court Administration record-keeping only.
Undisclosed conflicts of interest are also unethical, as are any illegal or unscrupulous activities, such as suppression of evidence or misleading statements made to courts.

Bar notation is an easier way to write a repeating number by putting a line, or bar, over the repeating numbers. Here's another example. 1 / 7 = 0.142857142857142857142857142857... But using bar notation, you would say 1 / 7 = 0.142857 with a line over those numbers to show that they repeat over and over.
