A Notice of Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Case — No Proof of Claim Deadline Set (For Corporations or Partnerships) is a document issued by a bankruptcy court that informs creditors of a company or partnership that has filed for bankruptcy protection under Chapter 7 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. The notice informs creditors of the bankruptcy filing, the debtor’s name and address, the bankruptcy court name and address, the case number, and the date and time of the creditors’ meeting. It also states that no proof of claim deadline has been set by the court. There are two types of Notice of Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Case — No Proof of Claim Deadline Set (For Corporations or Partnerships): (1) secure creditors, who are creditors who have a claim against property of the debtor, and (2) unsecured creditors, who are creditors who have a claim against the debtor but do not have a lien or security interest in the debtor’s property.
