Connecticut Articles of Amendment (Domestic LLC) is a document filed with the Connecticut Secretary of State that is used to amend the articles of organization of a limited liability company (LLC) registered in the state of Connecticut. The articles of amendment can be used to change the name of the LLC, change the purpose of the LLC, or make other changes to the articles of organization. There are two types of Connecticut Articles of Amendment (Domestic LLC): a Certificate of Amendment and an Amended and Restated Articles of Organization. The Certificate of Amendment is used to make minor changes to the LLC's articles of organization, such as a change of name or address. The Amended and Restated Articles of Organization is used to make major changes to the LLC's articles of organization, such as a change in the LLC's purpose or adding or removing members.
