Wyoming Certification to Court of Appeals is a document that certifies the accuracy of the record of a Lower Court in the state of Wyoming. The certification is used by the Court of Appeals when it is considering an appeal from a trial court. It is the responsibility of the clerk of the court to certify the accuracy of the record, and the certification must be filed with the Court of Appeals within 20 days of the filing of the appeal. There are three types of Wyoming Certification to Court of Appeals: (1) a Certificate of Perfection, which certifies that the record is complete and correct; (2) a Certificate of Partial Perfection, which certifies that the record is incomplete or incorrect in some way; and (3) a Certificate of Non-Perfection, which certifies that the record is substantially incorrect.
