Washington Judgment is a type of civil court ruling that is issued in the state of Washington. It is a final and binding decision that is entered into the court records as a lien against the debtor's property. A Washington Judgment is a court ruling that grants a plaintiff the right to take possession of the debtor's assets, including wages, bank accounts, and real estate, in order to satisfy a debt. There are two types of Washington Judgments: a default Judgment and a contested Judgment. A default Judgment occurs when the defendant fails to respond to the plaintiff’s claim and the court grants a ruling in favor of the plaintiff. A contested Judgment occurs when the defendant responds to the plaintiff’s claim and the court issues a ruling based on the evidence presented.
