Washington Sealed Financial Source Documents (Cover Sheet) is a legal document required by the state of Washington for certain financial transactions. It is used to provide information about the source of funds or assets used for the transaction. The Cover Sheet must include the name and address of the financial institution from which the funds or assets are being transferred, the amount of the transaction and the name and signature of the person responsible for the transaction. There are three types of Washington Sealed Financial Source Documents (Cover Sheet): Cashier's Check, Money Order and Certified Check. The Cashier's Check is a check issued by a financial institution, such as a bank, that guarantees payment of a sum of money to a designated recipient. A Money Order is similar to a Cashier's Check, but it is purchased by the person sending the funds, who must pay for the Money Order before it is issued. A Certified Check is a check issued by a financial institution that has been certified as having sufficient funds to cover the amount of the check.
