A Surety Information Sheet (SIS) is a document used to provide information about a surety company and its individual surety bonds. It is typically used when an individual or company is seeking a surety bond from a surety company. The information provided on an SIS is used to assess the surety company's ability to provide a bond and its terms and conditions. There are two main types of Surety Information Sheets: a comprehensive Surety Information Sheet and a Non-comprehensive Surety Information Sheet. A comprehensive SIS provides detailed information about the surety company, including contact information, financial information, surety bond details, and surety bond history. A Non-comprehensive SIS is a shorter version of the comprehensive SIS and provides less detailed information.
