“Unimproved” almost always means there isn't a structure, an electric meter, phone box or natural gas meter on the property. In rural areas, expect to find many unimproved parcels with varying degrees of access. This agreement for the sale of unimproved property provides that the purchase price is paid over a period of time. This type of agreement is not used much anymore. A more efficient way of buying real property over a period of time is to use a promissory note secure by a mortgage or deed of trust.
