Texas Income Withholding Order For Support is a legal document issued by the Texas Office of the Attorney General, Child Support Division. It requires an employer to withhold a specific amount of an employee's wages each pay period and remit the funds to the State Disbursement Unit for distribution to the employee's dependent. This document is issued to ensure that child support payments are made on time and in full. There are two types of Texas Income Withholding Order For Support: Interim Withholding Order (TWO) and Final Withholding Order (TWO). The TWO is used when the employer has not yet received proof of the employee's income or the employee's wages have not been garnished in the past. The TWO is used when the employer has already received proof of the employee's income and the employee's wages have previously been garnished.
