A Pennsylvania Writ of Execution Notice is a document issued by a court which authorizes the seizure of property for the purpose of satisfying a debt. This document is generally issued after a court has found that a defendant owes a plaintiff a certain amount of money, and is used to collect the debt that is owed. There are two main types of Pennsylvania Writ of Execution Notice: 1) a Writ of Execution on Personal Property and 2) a Writ of Execution on Real Property. A Writ of Execution on Personal Property authorizes the seizure of personal property, such as furniture, jewelry, or vehicles, in order to satisfy a debt. A Writ of Execution on Real Property authorizes the seizure of real estate, such as a house or land, in order to satisfy a debt. In both cases, the property seized can be sold in order to pay the debt that is owed.
