The Pennsylvania Petition For Certificate of Title to A Motor Vehicle (53.3 KiB) is a document used to request the transfer of ownership of a vehicle in the state of Pennsylvania. It can be initiated by either the current owner or the new owner of the vehicle. The petition must be completed with information such as the vehicle's make, year, model, VIN, and any additional information as required by the state. Once the petition is completed, the current and new owners must sign the document and submit it to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. There are two types of Pennsylvania Petition For Certificate of Title to A Motor Vehicle (53.3 KiB). The first type is the Petition for Transfer of Title where an existing vehicle title is being transferred from one owner to another. The second type is the Petition for New Certificate of Title where the vehicle has not previously been registered in Pennsylvania, and a new title needs to be issued.
