The Oregon Preferred Worker Wage Subsidy Reimbursement Request is a program offered by the Oregon Employment Department to help employers create employment opportunities for individuals who were laid off due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This program provides employers with a reimbursement of up to 50% of the wages paid to hired employees for a period of up to 12 months. There are two types of Oregon Preferred Worker Wage Subsidy Reimbursement Requests: the Standard Reimbursement Request and the Additional Reimbursement Request. The Standard Reimbursement Request is available to employers who have hired at least one Oregon Preferred Worker and are seeking reimbursement for up to 12 months of wages paid to the hired employee. The Additional Reimbursement Request is available to employers who have hired two or more Oregon Preferred Workers and are seeking reimbursement for up to 12 months of wages paid to the hired employees.
