Oklahoma Change or Designation of Registered Agent and/or Registered Office is a procedure that must be completed by all entities registered with the Oklahoma Secretary of State. This process is used to update the registered agent and/or registered office information that is listed on file with the state. The registered agent is a person or business that is designated to receive legal notices on behalf of the entity, while the registered office is the address of the physical location of the business. There are two types of Oklahoma Change or Designation of Registered Agent and/or Registered Office. The first type of change is a change of registered agent and/or registered office. This type of change requires the filing of a Statement of Change of Registered Agent and/or Registered Office (Form 513). The second type of change is a designation of registered agent and/or registered office. This type of change requires the filing of a Statement of Designation of Registered Agent and/or Registered Office (Form 514). Both forms must be completed and filed with the Oklahoma Secretary of State in order to update the registered agent and/or registered office information on file with the state.
