The New York Law Student Intern Appearance Form is a legal document used by law students who are interning in New York State. It is a declaration of appearance, filed with the court or other legal body, in which the law student states that he or she has been authorized to appear as an advocate for the court or other legal body. The form also provides information on the student's prior experience as an intern, the area of the law in which the student has been trained, and any other information requested. There are two types of New York Law Student Intern Appearance Forms: the basic form, which is required for all internships, and the advanced form, which is required for internships in specialized areas of the law.
