Schedule A — Cigarettes Received with New York Stamps Affixed is a type of record keeping that is used by the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance to document the receipt of cigarettes with New York State stamps affixed. This record keeping is used to ensure that the proper taxes have been paid on cigarettes purchased in the state of New York. There are two types of Schedule A — Cigarettes Received with New York Stamps Affixed: 1) Form ST-101A: Cigarettes Received with New York Stamps Affixed, and 2) Form ST-101A-R: Cigarettes Received with New York Stamps Affixed — Record of Tax Payments. Form ST-101A is used to document the receipt of cigarettes with New York State stamps affixed, and Form ST-101A-R is used to track the payment of taxes associated with those cigarettes.
