New York Lien Notice (Fillable) is a legal form used by lien holders to inform a property owner that they are claiming a lien on the property. It must be sent to the property owner, and any other party who has an interest in the property, such as the tenant or lender. This form is used to perfect the lien holder’s interest in the property. The notice includes the lien holder’s name, address, and contact information; the property owner’s name and address; the amount of the debt; and a description of the property that is subject to the lien. There are two types of New York Lien Notice (Fillable): a Construction Lien Notice and a Mechanic’s Lien Notice. A Construction Lien Notice is used when claiming a lien on a property for work related to construction, such as repairs, renovations, or additions. A Mechanic’s Lien Notice is used when claiming a lien on a property for work related to repairs and maintenance, such as plumbing, electrical, or HVAC work.
