A New York Notice of Appeal (Family Court) is a legal document filed by a party to appeal a decision in a family court case. The Notice of Appeal informs the court of the party's intention to challenge the outcome of the case and the court's decision. There are three types of New York Notice of Appeal (Family Court): 1. Appellate Term Appeal: This is an appeal of a decision of a Family Court to an appellate court. 2. Article 78 Appeal: This is an appeal of a decision of a Family Court to a higher court. 3. Family Court Appeal: This is an appeal of a decision of a Family Court to the Appellate Division. When filing a Notice of Appeal, the party must provide the court with a written statement of the grounds for the appeal and the relief sought. The Notice must also be signed by the appellant or their attorney and must be accompanied by a fee. The Notice must also be served on the other party to the case.
