The Nevada Other Exemption (EVE) is a form of tax exemption available to certain organizations and individuals in the state of Nevada. It allows them to be exempt from certain state or local taxes, such as sales and use taxes. There are three types of Nevada Other Exemptions: nonprofit organization exemption, governmental entity exemption, and qualified senior citizen exemption. A nonprofit organization exemption applies to any 501(c)(3) organization, while a governmental entity exemption applies to any state or local government agencies. Lastly, qualified senior citizens can apply for a Nevada Other Exemption if they are aged 65 or older and meet certain criteria.
