The Nevada Cover Sheet (Family) is a form filed with the Nevada courts when filing a family law case. It is used to provide the court with a concise summary of the case, including the names of the parties involved, the type of relief sought, and the case's cause of action. The Cover Sheet also alerts the court to any related cases that may be pending or have already been decided. There are three types of Nevada Cover Sheet (Family): Complaint Cover Sheet, Answer Cover Sheet, and Counterclaim Cover Sheet. The Complaint Cover Sheet is used when filing the initial complaint with the court. The Answer Cover Sheet is used when filing an answer to the complaint. The Counterclaim Cover Sheet is used when filing a counterclaim against a plaintiff.
