Identification: A driver's license, state ID card or passport for each person must be presented at the time of application. Identification must include a photo of the applicant. IDs must also be current and non-expired. Fee: The marriage license fee is $25.
Any person who is at least 19-years old may apply for a marriage license. Any minor who is 17-years old or 18-years old may apply for a marriage license with parental or legal guardian consent. The consent form must be notarized.
License statutes require that at least two witnesses, in addition to the minister or magistrate, be present at the ceremony. While these statutes do not specify a minimum age for witnesses, the age of majority for other legal purposes is 19.
