North Dakota Business/Professional/Farm LLC Articles of Dissolution and Termination are documents that officially terminate a limited liability company (LLC). The articles of dissolution must be properly completed and filed with the North Dakota Secretary of State in order for the LLC to be legally dissolved. The articles must include the registered name of the LLC, the date of the dissolution, and the signature of the LLC’s registered agent. There are two different types of North Dakota Business/Professional/Farm LLC Articles of Dissolution and Termination: voluntary and involuntary. Voluntary dissolution occurs when the members of the LLC decide to dissolve the company. Involuntary dissolution occurs when the LLC is forced to dissolve due to the death or incapacity of a member, or due to a court order.
