The North Dakota Financial Affidavit, also known as Form 7 is a document required by the North Dakota court system. This form is used to provide a full financial disclosure to the court and other parties involved in the legal proceedings. It is required by the court to ensure a fair and equitable resolution to the matter at hand. There are three types of North Dakota Financial Affidavit: the Simplified Affidavit, the Detailed Affidavit, and the Affidavit of Domestic Support Obligations. The Simplified Affidavit is used when the parties have no significant assets or liabilities. The Detailed Affidavit is used when there are significant assets or liabilities and/or the parties have complex financial arrangements. The Affidavit of Domestic Support Obligations is used when the court is determining the payment of an existing or potential child support or spousal support obligation. The North Dakota Financial Affidavit requires the disclosure of all assets, income, and liabilities at the time the form is completed. This includes real estate, automobiles, investments, bank accounts, income, debts, and other financial matters. The form also requires disclosure of any pending or anticipated changes in the financial situation.
