Michigan Restated Articles of Organization are documents that business entities in the state of Michigan must file with the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs in order to remain in good standing. This document outlines the company's name, purpose, registered office address, and the name and address of the Registered Agent. It also sets forth the management structure of the company, the liability of its members, and the duration of the entity. Additionally, any amendments to the Articles of Organization must be included in the Restated Articles. There are three types of Michigan Restated Articles of Organization: Restated Articles of Organization for Limited Liability Companies, Restated Articles of Organization for Professional Limited Liability Companies, and Restated Articles of Organization for Foreign Limited Liability Companies.
