Michigan Resignation of Agent is a document that is used by an Agent to terminate his or her representation as a representative of a business. It is filed with the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) and is used when a business no longer wishes to have the Agent represent them. The document must be signed by the Agent and the business, and must include the Agent’s name, address, and license number. There are two types of Michigan Resignation of Agent documents: Standard Resignation of Agent and Revocation of Agent. The Standard Resignation of Agent document is used when the Agent wishes to resign from representing the business, while the Revocation of Agent document is used when the business wishes to revoke the Agent’s authority to represent them.
