The Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) helps low-income families pay for child care while working or attending school or training. Eligibility is based on family size and household income and how many hours the adult applying for CCAP works and/or attends school or training.

Once you are approved for CCAP, Child Support Services will be contacting you to schedule an appointment with their office. You can also apply online for CCAP through Colorado PEAK at www.colorado.gov/PEAK.

Initial Applications: For initial applications, a fee of $25.00 is required with the application form. This non-refundable fee will be applied toward the license fee when the facility is licensed. All fees are to be paid by certified check or money order made payable to the Department of Social Services.

2212 State max rate for infants and toddlers is $18.50 per day. 2212 State max rate for three-year-olds and up is $17.50 per day. Co-Pay: Most households pay a portion of the child care costs. 2212 Households that are not categorically eligible pay a portion of the state rate for CCAP in addition to any other provider charge.

Applicant or Child must be a member or lineal descent of one of the CCDF member Tribes listed below. Applicant must be working and/or attending school; Child must be under the age of 13 years old; Household Income must be at or below 85% of the State Median Income for the same size household.

The Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) administers the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). To apply for SNAP benefits, visit the DCFS CAFE Self-Service Portal at https://sspweb.ie.dcfs.la.gov/selfservice/.

It takes approximately 10 business days from the date we receive a COMPLETE child care application for the application to be processed. Once the application is processed, the client and provider will be notified with either an approval, a denial, or a request for additional information.
