Illinois Order For Parentage Testing is a court order that requires the parties involved to undergo a genetic test to determine if they are the biological parent of a child. The Order is issued by a judge in the Circuit Court of the county in which the child was born. Depending on the circumstances, the Order could be applied to establish or disprove parentage of a child. There are three types of Illinois Order For Parentage Testing: 1) Genetic Testing Order for Putative Fathers: This type of Order is issued to determine if a man is the biological father of a child born out of wedlock. 2) Genetic Testing Order for Establishing Paternity: This type of Order is issued to determine if a man is the biological father of a child born in wedlock. 3) Genetic Testing Order for Establishing Maternity: This type of Order is issued to determine if a woman is the biological mother of a child born in wedlock or out of wedlock.
