The Illinois Order Confirming Plan (IOC) is a legal document that outlines the details of a court-approved reorganization plan for a debtor in bankruptcy. It is signed by the court and outlines the terms and conditions that must be met by the debtor in order to receive a discharge of their debts. The IOC also provides creditors with detailed information about the debtor’s assets, liabilities, and other financial information. There are three types of Focus: Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13. Chapter 7 is the liquidation plan, Chapter 11 is the reorganization plan, and Chapter 13 is the debt adjustment plan. All of these plans must be approved by the court in order for a debtor to receive a discharge of their debts.
