Idaho Satisfaction of Judgment is a legal process in which the court declares that a debt has been paid in full. It is a document that serves as evidence that a debt has been completely satisfied and that no further action is required by either party. The Idaho Satisfaction of Judgment must be filed with the court in order to officially close the case. There are two types of Idaho Satisfaction of Judgment: voluntary and involuntary. Voluntary Satisfaction of Judgment is when the debtor and creditor have come to an agreement that the debt has been paid in full and both parties have signed off on the agreement. Involuntary Satisfaction of Judgment is when the court orders a creditor to accept a specified payment as full satisfaction of a debt, even if the debtor has not agreed to it.
