The District of Columbia UCC11 Information Request is an official request for information related to Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) filings in the District of Columbia. These requests are typically made by lenders, business owners, or other interested parties to obtain information about secured transactions in the District. The request is made to the UCC Division of the District of Columbia Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DORA). There are three types of District of Columbia UCC11 Information Requests: UCC-1 Financing Statements, UCC-3 Amendments, and UCC-5 Terminations. UCC-1 Financing Statements provide information on a secured party's security interest in collateral. UCC-3 Amendments are used to modify an existing UCC-1 filing, such as adding new debtors or changing the collateral. UCC-5 Terminations are used to release a secured party's interest in the collateral, thereby ending the security interest.
