An Arizona Exemplification Certificate (District Court) is a document issued by the Court Administration Division of the Arizona Superior Court in order to certify that certain court records are true and accurate copies of the original documents. This document is often used in legal proceedings as proof that certain records are valid. It is also sometimes referred to as a Certificate of Exemplification. There are two types of Arizona Exemplification Certificates (District Court): a Standard Certificate and a Special Certificate. The Standard Certificate includes only the name of the court, the date the certificate was issued, and a signature from a court clerk. The Special Certificate includes the same information plus a copy of the original document. Both certificates are signed by a superior court judge or clerk and are stamped with the court's seal.
