An Arizona Writ of Execution to the United States Marshal is a legal document issued by a court in the State of Arizona to enforce a judgment or order of a court. It is a court order to the US Marshal to seize a debtor's property and sell it to pay a debt or to enforce a court judgment. This writ is also commonly referred to as a writ of execution, writ of garnishment, writ of repletion, or writ of attachment. There are two types of Arizona Writ of Execution to the United States Marshal: (1) an execution writ, and (2) a garnishment writ. An execution writ is used to seize and sell the debtor's non-exempt property to satisfy the debt or court judgment. A garnishment writ is used to seize and apply the debtor's non-exempt wages or other money owed to the debtor to satisfy the debt or court judgment.
