Alaska Stipulation, SHC-1060, is a state law that requires the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services (DSS) to provide a list of medical conditions that may qualify an individual to receive medical marijuana. This list must be updated every two years, or more often if necessary. The list includes qualifying medical conditions such as cancer, glaucoma, PTSD, HIV/AIDS, chronic pain, and seizures. There are two types of Alaska Stipulation, SHC-1060: the original version, which is applicable to all patients in Alaska, and the revised version, which is applicable to adults aged 21 and over.
